I am a 44 yr old female with a 23 yr old tubal ligation. All through July 2010, I was having pregnancy systoms. In August 2010 I had pains and pressure in my abdomen and my cycle twice, so I went to see my primary doctor. She sent me to get an ultrasound. Results proved nothing. All my tests prove that I am very healthy and my hormone levels are normal. Sept 3rd and 13th I had my menstrual. Sept. 21st I had to go to the hospital. The medical staff that was caring for me was a MD, GI, OB/GYN and Genral Surgeon hanging about. They took a CT scan of my abdomen, cause thats where the pain was originating from ( left side), blood test, urine test, ultrasound (internal and external). I was hospitalized for 3 days. MD said i have an ectopic pregnancy 10 weeks old. GI said that my intestines were fine so he signed off. On day 1, GYN said it was a tubal pregnancy, between my tube and ovary. (My fiance and I really want to have a baby after the reversal next yr) Then they said I had an infection, where? I have no clue, they didnt say and I did ask. While I was there, I started another cycle. Thats 3 cycles in 1 month. After 3 days of test and antibiotics and a prescription of provera, I was told to go home and allow it (?) to obsorb into my body. I have an appointment with MY GYN on the 29th, but yet Im confused. Am I pregnant or what?
