During my pregnancy with my 3rd child, most unusally thing happened. I was about 13 weeks pregnant and when I came in to work after a weekend, my girlfriend mentioned that my tummy looked huge. I didn't think I had any problem other than, I had to go to bathroom often and even if I went to the bathroom, I couldn't really pee. So, I went to my OB and he wansn't in town, so, the other doctor checked me out. She said my tummy is bigger than the normal 13 week old women. Well, they quick did an ultrasound and found that there were lots of liquid in my stomach. Then, they sent me to a specialist where they had a bigger ultrasound machine. They said said the same thing (which ended up being pee). Two days later, I had a surgery, thinking that I had to remove one of my overies, because that is what my doctor said. Instead, it was inverted uterus & bladder and the surgery lasted only 20 minutes. My doctor in Las Vegas said they have never seen this case in a pregnant women at the Sunrise Hospital. He had three other doctors (Oncologist, Urologist & one other doc from his office). Since, he didn't know what the surgery was for, my incisions is from the belly botton down. Well, amazingly, I carried my baby full term and had a c-section. He is now, turning 2 in December and health as he can be.
