Hi, I've had two bad sinus infections in the last 5 weeks - I'm currently recovering from another one. Along with this sinus infection I also have an upper respiratory infection currently on antibiotics and prednisone to help with my asthma. The sinus infection is clearing up by my chest is still tight. Besides the prednisone, I'm also using the nebulizer as need (which is at least 3/4 times a day). I'm going on 6 days of being on the meds, shouldn't my chest be feeling better by now?
I asked the doctor what I could do to help prevent these sinus infections and he said to keep taking my preventative meds (Advair diskus 250/50 and flonase). I've also have tried oil of oregano and the neti pot, but still ended up with a sinus infection. But that doesn't seem to be enough, any other suggestions?
