I've been stumbling around this site and realized you like a lot of personal info before you can really help someone with an issue.
I'm 23 years old and I've been on Nuvaring for 3 yrs. Take it in out...pretty easy. There haven't been any changes in my diet or exercise, not really. I eat healthy during the week and splurge a little on the weekends. I rarely exercise, but lately, once a week I'm trying to do something active for 30 mins to an hour. Nothing drastic though. I'm at a BMI of 18, and body fat is 21-22%.
I have very, very regular periods. I know that the weekend before I take my NuvaRing out, my period is going to start. Last month it was almost a week late, which caused me some concern. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative, but I wasn't too worried b/c my period seemed normal. This month, however, it's five days late. Two home pregnancy tests came back negative, but I'm still worried. I have no signs of pregnancy other than my breasts are tender and they don't get tender with my period. If I am pregnant I'm really worried b/c I've been on a lot of medications that could adversely affect an infant, but if I'm not, why is my period so messed up? Could I be pregnant?
