For the past two weeks I have been spotting, at first I thought it was because my regular period only lasted 2 days, Is this normal?

Usually my period takes 4 to five days, but this month it was only 2 days , thats why I figured this is maybe why I was spotting .Since I am now 34 I thought maybe Im goin through premenopause, Im getting worried now....should I be ? Or this normal ?
