I have not been diagnosed with an overactive thyroid but have a disturbing amount of the symptoms.(cold extremities, hair loss, no weight gain, emotional issues, mild depression and more) I have read that weight and nutrition issues are connected with the decrease in libido as well. I am only 29 years old, 5'7" and weigh a measly 115 lbs., do not gain weight and seem to be losing muscle tone already. My insurance picks up soon and the thyroid issue is at the top of my list. If I do have an overactive thyroid, will correcting the thyroid problem alone help increase my libido, or is there something else I need to do? Something has to give...my husband is not satisfied and I'm unhappy that he is not satisfied. Please help!
