I have had only one period in the last year but now find myself almost 3 months pregnant - will the lack of menstruation harm the foetus?

A former heavy drinker with a lot of stress, my menstrual cycle has been askew for years. I now find myself pregnant and worry about this lack of mentrual blood as necessary nutrients for the baby.
