Upon finding out I was pregnant two weeks ago I ceased all medications I had been taking following a traumatic car accident just over a year ago. I have yet to see my OBGYN but cannot sleep for worry as to the effects these meds may have (will) have had on the fetus. I was prescribed the following: tramadol, gabapentin, onycodone(took rarely), cymbalta, ambien, keppra as well as aspirin. It is possible I am as far as 12 weeks gone. Are there tests available at this stage that can discern any abnormalities. I realize I need to see my doctor ASAP but this proving difficult due to insurance issues.
