I understand that every person is different from the list of symptoms for adrenal gland deficiency. My first test showed low cortisol. Before test was 10, after was 18.5. The results from second opinion came out normal, was not informed of count.
My symptoms are as follows: For the past two years I have had chronic headaches off and on but over the past 8 months are more frequent and severe. Last summer I noticed hair loss from head, pubic area and armpits. When the headaches started to be more frequent I began to have jaw pain. I then had surgery to reposition the disks in both sides. It was believed that clenching might teeth at night was the cause. I ask why am I clenching my teeth? Then in November I began having chills, worse than when having a flu or cold. They are non-stop, chills to the bone. Heat feels cold. I wear layers at times. I am very sluggish and tired to the point where I feel I could lay down and sleep a long time. I want to get up and be active but my body is drained.
One thing that the Endocrinologist is concerned about is how much steroids was put into my body over the past 9 years for my chronic back and neck pain. He is still waiting for that information.
I now ask what your thoughts are and if I should get a third opinion even though I went to an Endocrinologist?
Thanks
