Why do I have a irregular period?

So I'm 14 years old and my mom is kinda of worried. My first period was in 8/8/08 (funny right?) Anyway it's February 2011 now and the last time I got my period was in November 2010. I know periods are irregular in the first 2 years, but it past that now. Is this normal?
