At age 9, I hit puberty. I have always had diahrrea associated with my periods, horrific cramps, and terrible bloating. I figured this is what everyone else had. I suffered with that until age 17, when I started to get a certain pain that I thought I was going to die from. My mother rushed me to the hospital on June 15th, 2009. Since the pain had finally subsided and it turned out to not be my appendix, the doctor sent me home with lortabs. I continued to have this same pain over the course of several months, I finally found a doctor willing to do a laparoscopic surgery on me which did in fact diagnose me with endometriosis. The surgery was October 10 of 2009. After the surgery, I kept having this pain in my left side, which I just can't even describe in words. I told the doctor, and, in a nut shell, he told me that I was faking my pain. I've been through 3 other doctors who are unwilling to even do an ultrasound, and after an onslought of pain this week, my boyfriend decided to take me to the hospital, where they gave me an Xray for some reason, although I asked for an ultrasound. Now I'm 19 and absolutely terrified of the pain I'm in. I've tried diet, pain pills, contraceptives. And although I've been on Seasonique for a year now, I still have full and painful periods each month, and the bleeding is beginning to get worse. Is there anyone out there who will take me seriously?
