Up until my hysterectomy (1 ovary left) I was able to manage my IBS for 2 years. After I developed a yet to be diagnosed bladder/pelvic issue that my doctors are treating as IC. I would like to not constantly take meds so I have tried an elimination diet. Problem is I am not getting enough protein. I cant have soy, tofu, peanuts, red meat is hard for me to digest, pork as well...Basically everything except eggs, and fish. That is not going to work for me. I am starting back on my weights, and my swimming as well as my elliptical and yoga. I am losing weight and I need to be gaining it. Prior to all this I depended heavily on soy and whey protein. Abt 30-40G total mostly consumed right after my workout. So now what can I do? Is Whey still an option? I was thinking of getting C, Bcomplex, and B12 injections as well since I also cannot eat fruit (except one type of apple and pears). I see the list on the ICN site of what I cant have.. but not allot of what to replace it with, paired with the restrictions for IBS. I am finding myself easily falling back into a disintrest in eating at all... not good I dont want to be there again... I know I should go to a dietitian but I am have on avg 4-6 dr an therapy apts a week, I cant fit anything else in and cant afford it either.
