I am a 58 having undergone a double radical, tram flap reconstruction and t complet hysterectomy (cell changes already present). I found a lump in my left breast - went to my family dr. first - and she found the spot. Had all my blood work done and tumor markers were perfect. Went to the breast surgeon - he felt it as well. Had an immediate sonogram (only one spot was ordered) - but the imaging center did both breasts. Nothing only the left, 2 spots on the right. Immediate mammogram- lymph node on right breast shinning like the moon! Family history: maternal grandmother bc; father bc and died from it, both sisters (identical twins) bc.
No chemo, radiation or adjunct therapy as both receptors were negative).
