Hello. For the past 3 weeks I have had rubery tacky skin that sticks to things wheras previously my skin was smooth and non sticky. It is on both hands and
sticks to wood and paper etc. with fingers sticking together, making a peeling off noise.
I use soap, shower wash and have tried moisturiser, deep cleanse exfoliation pore cleaner(after cleaning old leather steering wheel on old car with soap and dashboard shine), oil
and dirt
remover and put nail varnish(acetone) remover on skin and washed off, all to no avail. All the while it is still rubery(though not sticky when wet) when wet, damp or dry and sticky and
rubery when dry/damp). It
usually gets sticky when it gets damp(with sweat or water) the most.
I have been using a Low Ph Liquid hand soap for over 5 months of PH 5.5 called Seba Med, but with moisturing afterward - could it be the acid mantle?
I have researched it, but don't know whether it is Sticky Skin Syndrome which is Acquired Cutaneous Adherence - I have a mold(which I've read causes fungus) in the bathroom) or
is it hyperhidrosis of too much sweat or oil production? Please help.
