My boyfriend and I have always been extremely close, and we love each other very much. We finished our sophomore year and now we're into our junior year, but I get this vibe from him that he thinks I'm clingy... I'm not used to this because it was always him and me wanting nothing more than each other's company. He yells at me often to give him space and to stop "suffocating him by asking him to promise me things," but that's because I'm afraid I'll lose him! I know there's a cheerleader that likes him, and before he never cared about her... and now he's nice to her because other guys just noticed her.
We haven't engaged in anything sexual for about a week. One reason is because we don't have time but another is because he hurt himself down there. I told him I'd kiss it and make it better but he said he doesn't want that and "he needs to cool down." I'm not sure what happened but it's swollen and he said it itches. :| I don't know, but I hope he wants to still be intimate with me afterwards. Whenever I suggest we do something (be it sexual or romantic) he either says "Sure :)" or something very terse and perhaps bitter--I can't tell since it's over text.
Anybody have tips to get my guy back? Do you think I've lost him somehow? He's never been so distant with me before! D: I'm a little scared.
