The only contact I've had with sperm was at least two hours after it dried, and that was on about September 3rd and sometime in late August. (Already, I realize that's about a 1% chance of pregnancy.) I've taken two HPTs since early September - both done by medical professionals - and both were negative (which probably brings the chance of pregnancy down to about 0.1%). I've also had my period in both August (17-21) and September (11-16) - again, not a very high chance of pregnancy when I had a full period a week after the sperm contact. Does that rule out pregnancy as a cause?
I'm 18 years old, senior in high school, so I realize I'm probably going through a lot of physical changes. But I've been having cramps as if I'm starting my period for about three days now (feels almost exactly like period cramps I get on the first day), and it still hasn't started. My calendar says it should start on the 11th (based off the two date ranges I put above), but I'm still a bit concerned. I'm supposed to go on birth control after my next period, which my doctor said would help me. She said it's probably stress, but I'm not sure. I have regular periods every 27-30 days or so (my September one came a week early though). I've also been having migraines and headaches very often. I'm tired at school a lot. My bones and joints are aching, especially my neck, back, and knees. Maybe my period is ABOUT to start soon, but normally I don't cramp up days before my period. It'll usually wait until the first day to cramp.
What could my problem be?
