My son is 15 and has just been diagnosed with Asbergers - he is a talented bagpiper and the school has seen fit to remove him from the bagpipes. He is now depressed and questioning why everyone wants to hurt him?

He is a talented bagpiper and was taken into the bagpipe corps in his freshman year - he had straight A's in band last year and this year 4 out of 5 teachers call him a pleasure to have in class. The band director refuses to work with us and the psychiatrist feels that reinstating him into the bagpipes will help him not only maintain his grades in other subjects but help him successfully navigate the rest of his two years of high School. What do I do if the school is refusing to work with me on this? PLEASE help me!
