I have been trying to determine the most suitable form of birth control for myself. I have tried the Pill before but was unable to discipline myself to take it regularly. I also decided to stop it because of some stressful events in my life that forced me to cut out anything within my control that could be affecting my mood. My OBGYN recently explained to me in detail the differences between the Nuvaring, patch and pill and I came out thinking that I should switch to the ring - but have my reservations after doing some research and learning that it is twice as likely to cause blood clots because of the way that the hormones are up-taken in your blood. Any thoughts?
