My son has stomach cancer, after chemo and operation it spread to peritoneum. About 6weeks ago developed fluid around the left lung which he had drained 2 weeks ago. Nodes detected in left lung At first he showed no improvement but just before he went to get his stitches removed last week he seemed to pick up. After waiting around an hour in the outpatients hospital to remove stitches, xray looked good but he started to go downhill again. Now showing signs of numbness in right arm and light flashes and migraine symptoms which last about 15 minutes. Difficulty breathing faced with changes of temperature going from warm room to cold etc. Waiting to see oncologist on Thursday last weeks appointment clashed with stitches removal so was cancelled. No longer fighting disease , very depressed. How can we help and how long does he have to live ?
