Iam 45 going through premenapause and my period is going crazy it start with spotting

it comes on then it stops but when i have sex it comes back on during sex then it goes off again the next day,then it will come on heavy for couple of days then goes off they happens all the time oh did i mentoin my period last for 13 days.Is this normal please help.
