I was diagnosed with lupus when I was 28. I'm now 67. I've never heard of tumid lupus, but admittedly, I've not kept up. They knew very little about lupus 40 years ago and after I was diagnosed with discoid lupus my dermatologist sent me to a rheumatologist who, basically, told me, "you have a disease that up until 5 years ago was always considered to be fatal" --- and walked out of the room. I knew nothing about this disease except what he'd just told me. I turned to alcohol to console me, and eventually, to drugs (marijuana). DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! Don't panic! Educate yourself. Take a deep breath, and if you know Jesus Christ, talk with Him. If you, want, you can talk with me; although because I have been so very blessed for someone who's had lupus for 40 years, I'm not sure how much help I can be. I'll see what I can find about "tumid lupus."
