In Jan 2011, at 33 years old, I had my rightside of my Thyroid removed due to a nodule, thankfully it was benign. The surgeon did well but referred my to my family physician to followup with my levels, so I left the hospital on no meds my. On follow up my TSH level was 5.25 the doctor still didn't put me on meds even though I felt horrible what makes it was is I had a 4 month old at the time as well. I was to follow up with him in 30 days with new labs at that visit they were 4.75 and assured me this was in normal range and all my side effects would soon dissappear. In May I had it, I was sOOO tired, weak, drained of life, pain throughout my body, headaches, chills, mood swings, I called and made another appointment. I know that this time something was going to get fixed right its not in my head, well I got more labs and was recieved by the same thing your in the normal range, mind you before my surgery my TSH level was 1 now its anywhere between 3 and 6. I can't take it anymore, I want to live without this anchor on me, I want to be able to enjoy my children and husband more important I want them to be able to enjoy me again. I live 45 min. South of Kalamazoo, Michigan Please if you know of a good doctor in the area please let me know . I have tried natural vitamins and it doesn't really do it I'm currently taking B Complex and L-Carnentien
thanks
