I've just been told I'm diabetic, have liver damage from unknown source (don't drink),but obese so likely non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, & have pneumonia. Wasn't told if Type 1 or 2 diabetes but don't need to measure blood glucose levels, which I thought all diabetics need to do. I went to doctor initially due to excessive bloating, abdominal discomfort and wild swings between constipation and diharrea and extreme fatigue. I quit smoking on July 10, 2011 and added 12 pounds, so am very concerned about losing weight. I just can't get into doing everything at once. I was trying to exercise 1-2 hours daily doing water aerobics, but now so exhausted and ill I can't leave the house. Was sent for additional blood work to test for hepatitis and scheduled for abdominal ultrasound 11/29. Also put on inhalers for COPD and antibiotic for 5 days (Now Day 3- no improvement)
