One night, I had sex with my partner (I'm on birth control and he always wear a condom) and woke up the next morning to a dry brown blood all over his bed. I had finished my period just a day or two beforehand, and just assumed it was some dry old blood. For the remainder of the month, I had light brown discharge. When it was time for my period 28 days later, it looked like blood clots, but brown.. thick dark brown discharge. After 5 days, when I went on to my new pack of pills, the brown discharged stopped. This happened again the next month, and again the next month.. Month 4 I was seeing red blood again, but not a lot, and much more brown discharge than red blood. Today I was supposed to get my 5th period since this all started, and it was very very light brown discharge. I've seen 2 doctors who told me it must be my birth control, took me off Trinessa and on Orth Tri-Cyclen Lo and then back on Trinessa and did pregancy tests (which we obviously negative). They told me it could be stress, it could be my diet .. They told me to relax. It has now been 5 months! What happened? Where is my period?
