I had a ankle fusion in early 2000 as a result of an old sports injury. I recently had a subtalar joint fusion, being 8 weeks out now it seems to be going okay. However I know once Im out of my casts my ankle will be completely stiff other then my toes wiggling.
My work keeps asking me what I can and cannot do as I was a CNA, so I transfered clients which took proper body mechanics, pushed and pulled hoyer lifts. My concern is I wont be able to do those things from loss of motion. I'm also concerned with driving. I've tried to find others who have had this complete procedure but its hard to find on just teh regular interent. Also how is it using the stairs and such?
