i was told my pituritary gland has low cortisol and my acth level is low. i am gaing weight and i am a gasrtic by pass patient since 2008. is this why i am gaing weight b/c of this gland dysfunction. and my blood sugar level is dropping into the 40's and when i eat something to bring it up it jumps up to the 200's. should i just let it come up on it's own or should i go to the hosp?
