I'm 14 years Old. Almost 15. I have bv. Have for about 4 months now. I haven't had sex yet. I haven't tried any medications or anything because I'm afraid it'll just make my bc worse. I suffer mostly from the discharge,nasty fishy smell :( & the itching. My mom won't take me to the doctor because she thinks I'm just not washing good enough down there. But trust me, that's not the case! I'm more concerned now than ever because I found out this could lead to PID. I know I don't have a yeast infection. So it has to be bv. I need to do something EFFECTIVE to make this go away and never come back. I am also overweight. & I was wondering since my thighs are always covering my vagina & it can't "breathe" is that why I have bv?
Why do I have bv?
What can I do that works fast, effectively & not letting it come back. (without going to the doctor)
