I'm 21 years old, and I have been on the pill for 2 1/2 years (Desogen for 2, and Loestrin 24 FE for 6 months). I stopped taking them Friday, August 10th even though I still had active pills through Tuesday, August 14th. I never did, and still haven't gotten my period as of September 4th. Prior to stopping I hadn't had sex since late May/early June (lack of sex drive was the reason for stopping), and had normal periods in June and July while on the pill. I took a pregnancy test about 10 days after my missed period and it came up negative.
Just this past week I've had some minor cramping on and off and nipple tenderness. Has anyone else had a problem with their period after coming off the pill? I've read where people had "withdrawal bleeding" and then no regular cycle for months, but I've had NO bleeding since my July period (never got an August one when I stopped). I don't think I'm pregnant, but am not sure about where my period has gone.
