My mother had breast cancer at age 55 and again at age 61. Both her sisters died of cancer. My doctor has said I should not take hormones under any circumstances. So I don't have a doctor who could help me evaluate if I need testosterone or progesterone and how much I need to take. I am 49, have night sweats about once a week, irritability seems to be rising with my husband and at work, impatient, starting to have painful sex (sharp pain), have suffered from depression for all of my adult life and have been on SSRIs for 15 years, and have had chronic sinus infections for past 5-8 years. I had an ablation at age 46 due to severe anemia/heavy clotting periods. I am a Clean Eater (2+years) - no white sugar, white flour, no packaged foods, no fast foods, processed foods at all. What tests should I have done to determine my hormone levels, how do I figure out what hormone I need to take and how much, and can you recommend how to find a doctor near Auburn, CA.
