I have a small nodule on the right thyroid gland, and It doesn't caused any symptoms. I've been doing some clinically test: TSH, T3, T4 in the normal condition (euthyroid), USG ( Thyroid Nodule 1.8 cm in diameter ), FNAB ( Struma Colloides with cystic degeneration/benign ). My Doctor said, that's just a simple goiter and he suggest me to have a surgery (and it means thyroidectomy). It's so hard to make a decision because Thyroidectomy is freaking me out. Should i do thyroidectomy? Do i have another option? If any, what kind of treatment is suggested?
