I have anxiety and have heen taking clonazapam, but I want off and try to handle life without tranquilizers. The dr says what I am feeling isn't withdrawal but anxiety. How can I know? I have trouble accepting that I need tranquilizers to handle life and want to be free of them. Does anyone have any advice? The dr left it up to me, either I get off and deal w/anxiety or stay on and let the meds control it. I'm confused and feeling overwhelmed.
