I need relief from ankle pain with either a fusion or a replacement. I don't know what to do. Does anyone have info that could help me ?

I have RA. I have had it for 40 years. I got it at 15. It began in my hands and feet. Have had many surgeries in both. Going to need more but can't decide if I should bear the pain ( not a great option), or have some type of operation.
