Florida-based aerialist, Nik Wallenda completed a daring tightrope walk near the Grand Canyon on Sunday.
Wallenda, who did not wear a harness while making the quarter-mile walk, was faced with higher than expected winds.
Fox News reported earlier, the walk took approximately 22 minutes and took place about 1,500 feet above the river on the Navajo Nation near the Grand Canyon.
Fox reported that Wallenda stepped slowly and steady throughout, jogging the last few steps.
Wallenda is a seventh-generation high-wire artist and is no stranger to daring stunts. Many of his relatives have died while attempting similar death-defying performances.
About 600 spectators looked on as he completed his walk.
