Has anyone had just one kidney removed? What was the reason for it? I have a family member who has a tumor on his kidney and it continued to grow slowly. They did a biopsy with a needle and came back cancerous. Now they want to go in robotically, remove the tumor, bag the kidney and send him home the next day. Could that be possible??
