Is it ok to take vitamin E or any kind of supplements while on birth control pill?

Started a pack of birth control pills only this August 14, 2013. My period has started August 13, 2013. Took them at 7pm and taking vitamin E before bed time.. Is it just ok to take them at the same day or should i stop taking vitamin E first and wait until i finished my pills? Thank you so much..
