I took plan B and now I am having a really long "period/bleeding". Is this normal?

I took plan B after a misshap. I got my period a week earlier than ususal on the 31st of May. The bleeding was normal for a few days then it almost stopped and then it started again and now it is the 11th of June. Are longer periods normal after taking plan B? 12days just seems really long to me and can I stop the bleeding.
Oh and I also started my regular birth control when the bleeding started, should I continue taking the pill?
