M has had a lot of health problems including having a kidney removed early of in life.
She has had lots of antibiotics because of chronic bladder infections (also part of her urinary tract problems from birth) and now sees a Chinese md for her immune/auto immune system, she suffers from depression but takes Wellbutrin which does not cause weight gain. She exercises a lot, she eats for candida, so has no sugar, dairy, gluten or yeast and has even tried giving up the meat recently. She does occasionally cheat but not enough to cause this crazy weight gain. She had a skyla iud for a few months but had that removed last month thinking that might be the cause. Last year she went on the pill and that caused a lot of weight gain. This is driving her crazy, she doesn't sleep well and it makes her more depressed. She is at college living with girlfriends and just wants to feel happy and not self conscious. Life is always a struggle for her but this is really worrisome.
Not really sure where we should go next with this and wondering if an endocrinologist should be the next step
