I haven't had my period since late March of 2013 and suddenly tonight, it came back. At first it was reddish brown spotting and then later became light pinkish red. I've stopped using birth control pills around 2012 since i kept on forgetting so I don't use birth control pills. I've been very stress these past few years and had a bad breakup so I think stress or something has to do with me not getting my period. Recently, I've been honest and been getting all the weight on my shoulder lifted. Then suddenly, POOF! my period is back.
I think I'm just getting my period back but my boyfriend thinks I should for sure go to the doctors to get my vagina checked out. Is there any reason on why my period came back after 3 years or could it be something serious? Could it be secondary amenorrhea? Or is that completely something different?
