Menstrual bleeding for 3 weeks

Hello, I went to the ER in May due to sharp pain in my lower right side and had a lot of vaginal bleeding. They said it was an ovarian cyst. The bleeding did taper off but now in June, I have been experiencing heavy vaginal bleeding and pain for more than 3 weeks. Can this be due to the cyst?
