My last period was June 6th (about 5 months ago from today). I used to have irregular cycles (35-60 days) but never has my cycle lasted this long. I went to multiple doctors and have been tested for hormonal imbalances and have had an ultrasound - everything was normal. I even tried 5 days of Provera to induce a period and nothing happened. I recently have been taking 800mg of Vitex (chasteberry) pills for about 13 days and still no period. I don't know what to do anymore to get my cycle back. All the doctors want me to go on the birth control pill but I'm highly against it because I believe this is what messed my cycles up in the first place. I also want to try to conceive around January. Does anyone have similar experiences of this and what did they do to get a normal cycle? I eat very healthy and exercise 2-3x a week. My BMI is 20 and my body fat is 17%. I've lost about 2 lbs over the last few months and have been stressed from school but I've been trying to de stress my life and eat very well and still no period..
