Hi, I am a 27 year old mother of two. My normal period is about 3 to 4 days, in which two of those day are heavy with small clots. But over the past 6 months my period has done a 180. I went 30 days or so with out a period, thought I was pregnant. When I finally got my period it started off lite, but then turned really heavy. I was having to change my pad or tampon every 2 hours or so. it lasted a week and a half. Then I went two weeks with no period. When I got it again it started off heavy with really thick clots bigger than a half dollar. It been almost three weeks no with no relief. I have to double up and use a tampon and pad just to try and make it through work. but I have to change both every hour. I am feeling tired a lot as well. I even wake up in the middle of the night and have to change again. I don't want to make an expensive trip to the doctor for them to just say I need to be on a medication or on birth control to regulate it out. Can I get some opinions. What do yall think I should do?
