I started minastrin fe for the first time this month and stopped mid pack for reasons too long to explain (I took 12 days worth and did a sunday start, so on cycle day 6). I was on it to treat/prevent ovarian cysts. The day I was having my transvaginal ultrasound to follow up on my cyst (also the day I stopped my pills) they saw another functional cyst. The technician said it could be that I had ovulated.. my question is should I be taking a pregnancy test to rule it out? We did not use any back up protection and we did wait 7 days before having sex after starting the birth control. I had my withdrawal bleeding...so do I count that as a period and consider myself not pregnant?
