I'm a virgin and I don't want to have sex anytime soon. However, what little sexual contact I have had with my bf results in anxiety about pregnancy and I'm too scared about pregnancy risks to have more sexual contact (not sex because I know I'm not ready for that yet)... so my question is whether I should start taking the pill for sexual contact (not sexual intercourse). Do I need to? My friend said the side effects aren't worth it unless you're actually having sex. I'm at the doctors next week about something else and was thinking of mentioning it but I don't know whether to or what to say.
