I've had my period for almost 3 weeks now and there are no signs of it even trying to stop

I am anemic I take iron pills and I'm still bleeding clotting slot too many it's heavy bleeding I can't even function and it's starting to interrupt my sleep what could be wrong why won't it stop in 52 yrs old and I just want it to end I'm starting to get really frustrated whst can I do or take to make it stop
