Visual Impairment
Visual impairment is another common symptom of a migraine, which includes increased light sensitivity, curved lines for complicated shapes and patterns, vision blackness among others. Sudden vision loss is a severe occurrence which might require serious medical attention.
Hearing Whizzing
A migraine can cause distortions in sound perceptions. Hearing loss or buzzing in the ears can precede a migraine attack.
Nauseous Sensation
Common symptoms of a migraine also include nausea, which happens because migraines have a lot to do with dietary habits such as skipping meals or having particular types of foods. Edible components such as Nitrates, Tyramine, etc. are known precursors to migraines.
Physical incapacitation
The trigeminal nerve has multiple other functions – it controls the motor skills, i.e. hand and feet movements. So, it’s obvious that anything affecting this nerve will hamper your motor skills leaving you incapable of completing or concentrating on complex movements and tasks. Also, a sudden stiffness in the neck and shoulders is a precursor to a migraine attack. More severe cases include a complete paralysis of the limbs.
