Is my birth control still effective if I am on amoxidal 500 antibiotics?

hello, I was recently on amoxidal 500 antibiotics & also on birth control. I have been taking my birth control at regular time every day but my boyfriend & I had unprotected sex also. Does the amoxidal effect my birth control at all?
