Think About The Change That You Want To See
We tend to get ourselves into a rut, a cycle, of working day in and day out. “But I don't have time to exercise, I don't have time to look after my health…” Just some of the few things we tell ourselves, creating that negative energy which I’ll be telling you about a little further on, making it our reality.
All it takes is that initial switch, to say “I am healthy. I am fit. I am a walker, a runner.” If there is something that we truly want, we will make time for it. Wake up an hour earlier, take a walk during your lunch break for thirty minutes, small steps at a time open big doors. Read up on natural supplements on sites such at Customer Review that could improve your state of mind and physical health, of course in consultation with your doctor.
From that moment you need to flood your thoughts with positive energy. Read up on home exercise programs. Start by taking short walks around the block. Track your exercises with Strava in order to motivate yourself and each time, try beat your past time or distance, (so start off slow and realistic with your expectations).
Pick one of the many apps such as Myfitnesspal to track your intake and help you make the changes needed in your diet for an effective outcome.
The resources are all available, all at no cost, and all it takes is that tiny atom of energy, that initial thought of taking the first step.
Energy Is Everything
If you turn to a quantum physicist and ask them what creates the world, they will tell you that the world is made up of energy. When asking them to describe energy they will tell you that energy, can never be created or destroyed. It always was, is and always will be. Everything that exists is made up of it which always has existed,it's moving into form, through form, and out of form.
If asking a theologian, what created the world, they will tell you, God. When asking them to describe God they will tell you that it can never be created or destroyed. It always was, is and always will be. Everything that exists is made up of it which always has existed, it's moving into form, through form, and out of form.
Essentially the existence of energy exists according to all theories, just under different terminology. So, if you think that you are just a meat suit running around, think again. You are simply an energy field whether you choose to believe that it is spiritual or not, operating within another energy field, according to James Arthur Ray, Philosopher, quoted in The Secret
Philosophers have always told us that thoughts become things. Now when you hear this, it can come across in two ways:
. Wishful thinking, hoping things into fruition or
. A more practical route, what you fixate your attention and goals on is what your physical actions will turn to through work, determination and a leap at an opportunity when it presents itself.
Mind Power - The Power Of The Mind
Because everything is made up of energy even your thoughts have an associated energy value. When one goes for a neurological scan, one of the measurements that are recorded via the scanning technology is the energy or activity associated with your mental state at the time of the scan. Therefore by constantly thinking healthy thoughts through one of the two methods listed above, you will slowly begin to become a healthier person.
People that are fixated on their chronic conditions or diseases, and constantly talk about their troubles according to studies show little to no improvement in their health. Whereas there have been case studies on miracle stories where people have been informed that they will never walk again, never live a normal life again and have walked away from debilitating injuries as a result of their state of mind. More importantly because of what actions they have taken because they made a conscious decision to be healthy again.
A Change Of Heart
When I was twenty years old, I had my first heart attack. I had a full blown Myocardial Infarction. At the age of twenty when someone has a heart attack the doctor's first question generally, will be “what have you taken”? Fortunately or unfortunately in my case, it was just a case of inheriting some problematic cardiac genes and a really bad lifestyle. Weighing in at 219 pounds with a height of 5.2 feet. The general recommended weight for that height should be around 144 pounds.
Lying in my hospital bed I made a decision... I was twenty years old, I still needed to meet the love of my life, have children, and live the rest of my life… I was going to be healthy.
From the next day, I was reading exercise magazines, health columns and fixating my mind on being healthy. After leaving the hospital I joined a six-month cardiac rehabilitation program. When I was cleared from my program I began walking every day. I started small, two, then five, then 7, then 10 kilometers. Within a month I was walking 10 kilometers every day and within another four months, I had lost 66 pounds. I started surfing, hiking, cycling and I became fixated on the rush of being active.
Everything starts with one small thought. What will your next thought be…
