Is it too late to take medicine prescribed for bronchitis a month later?

I found out that I have bronchitis in May but never took the medicine to clear up the bronchitis in my Airways can I still take the medicine now if I can get the prescription cuz I still feel like it's hard for me to get air in my lungs. Is the bronchitis still blocking my Airways for me breathing normally after physical activities?
