I am 37 years old and have cysts on each of my ovaries. The bleeding started april of 2016 and long story short, after 3 months of nonstop bleeding I went to ER (no insurance ), and received the diagnosis form them. They gave me hormone pills and after just a few days it stopped. But then it began again only a couple months later and this time did not respond to hormones. Every time it starts, it just ~never stops~, (I have had a collective time of not bleeding maybe a few months out of last 20) I don't know when my last period was bc I can't tell!! This time I have been bleeding at least 4 months straight everyday, fluxuating between spotting and literally having to use a super+ tampon with an overnight-level pad and it will be drenched in hours. I'm freaking out bc I can't afford a private doctor, and I can't afford another ER visit, and to get a followup vaginal ultrasound like I had around February) I have to be on a waiting list that will be another month and a half to just get the ~referral~. I'm crying as I type this because I'm so scared and frustrated..has *anyone* bled this long?? Please, I would feel so much better if I even just knew I wasn't alone. Surely I need it/them removed? Am I hurting myself in other ways by letting this go on so long?
