I recently had a ovarian removal in January of 2017 due to a mass tumor the size of a grapefruit. After surgery I've been experiencing a bad yeast infection problem. It's like a white tissue that feels soft like toilet paper. I have been to the Dr. that performed the surgery, and I was told it is just a bad yeast infection. Then one individual pill is given. The problem will go away for a week or so and some back again. I've also tried over the counter medication, for example Monistat. The tissue doesn't smell, but before my menstrual cycle is the worst time and when it starts to itch, swell, and become red. I've been going through this for way too long, and the doctor keeps telling me everything is fine. But I don't feel fine. I feel like my vagina is deteriorating or something. I am scared. Please. Why is this happening, and how can I fix this problem? Is it something I should worry about and monitor?
